I never wanted to be falling.I never wanted to love you.
I never wanted to have my heart pound like a wild drum whenever you look me in the eye. I just wanted to have some fun, way back then…was it only a few months ago? I wanted to get the boy I had always wanted but never thought I could have. I wanted to prove just how far I could detach myself from those around me. I wanted to show everyone how high above it all I could keep my heart, just how tight I could lock the chains it hung from. The wings I painted on it were fake, but really, my intentions were pure. I promise. Too bad i I never wanted to be falling.
